Comments 0 | Recommend 0Althea Paul joined CBS12 in October 2008 as a reporter/anchor. She comes from WINK, the CBS affiliate in Fort Myers. Althea is thrilled that she's staying in the Sunshine State, having grown up in South Florida. Her family lives in Homestead and now she's even closer to them!
While at WINK, Althea covered a wide variety of stories as a reporter. The Fort Myers/Cape Coral area was one of the hardest-hit places for foreclosures, and Althea really got a chance to go in-depth about the issue and talk to families about what they're going through. Other memorable stories include the discovery of eight sets of skeletal remains (which made national news), and covering Tropical Storm Fay.
Prior to WINK, Althea began her on-air career as a reporter/anchor for WCAV in Charlottesville, VA. Her first job in TV news was at WSVN in Miami as a writer when she first graduated from college.
Althea graduated cum laude from Florida International University and has a B.S. in Communications.
